West Shore Evangelical Free Church is a welcoming community of believers located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The church was founded in 1979 and has been a pillar of the community ever since. The History of West Shore Evangelical Free Church
The church began as a small group of believers who met in homes for Bible study and prayer. As the group grew, they began to meet in a rented facility and eventually purchased their own building on Carlisle Pike. Over the years, the church has continued to grow and expand its ministries to serve the community.
What We Believe
West Shore Evangelical Free Church is a member of the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) and adheres to its statement of faith. We believe in the triune God, the deity of Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and the authority of the Bible. We also believe in the importance of living out our faith through service to others and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with those around us.
Our Ministries
West Shore Evangelical Free Church offers a variety of ministries for people of all ages and backgrounds. Our children's ministry provides a safe and nurturing environment for kids to learn about God and grow in their faith. Our youth ministry helps teenagers navigate the challenges of adolescence and build a strong foundation for their future. We also have small group Bible studies, men's and women's ministries, and outreach programs to serve the needs of our community.
Our Worship Services

Our traditional service features hymns and classical music, while our contemporary service includes modern worship songs and a praise band.
